St. Louis Cardinals reliever Josh Hancock was killed in a car crash today. It’s kind of weird. People die every day, but when a sports figure, or even a celebrity of any form, dies it almost always comes as a shock because they are almost larger than life.
In a tragic irony, teammates were concerned about Hancock three days ago when he didn’t get to the game on time.
That is so very sad. not to diminish his loss, but will it hurt the cardinals this year?
Yeah, he was a strong member of the bullpen.
