Live Writer doesn’t like Windows 7

Which is a shame, because I do. For some reason, there is no ability to upload pictures from the web when I use Live Writer with Windows 7. To be fair, I haven’t used Live Writer in quite some time on any OS, and therefore it’s possible that it has nothing to do with Windows 7. I do know that not having that upload option is quite annoying. I guess it’s back to the WordPress interface for me.

I am one of the developers of Windows Live Writer, I just wanted to point out a blog post I just made that explains what happened to ‘insert image from web’ and how to work around it. I think you will find this just as easy as before.

I have had good luck and solid stability from windows 7.
Yeah, my only complaint is with the audio. I get some nasty audio glitches, but it’s bearable as the OS as a whole is quite good.
