Small-town guy is a big-time fighter – Brandy sent me this article in the Post about Matt Hughes.  The best part is the picture of Park-N-Puke.  I could so go for a bag of burgers right now.

Hmm, frozen yogurt.

eBay sacks O’Fallon woman accused of coupon scam – When I saw this article it reminded me of when Adrienne was selling coupons to kids on the bus.  Classic.

Gosh, I hate Pelosi.

OpenCongress – Brent and I were just talking about something similar to this the other day.  The site tracks the members of Congress so that citizens can be more informed and involved.

The only Linux build I would consider.

An easier way to install ubuntu – I keep thinking about installing Linux for kicks, but I’ve been too lazy.  Here’s an even easier way to install ubuntu.

Solar power.

Citizen RENU – An interesting notion.  If you own your own home, they will give you solar panels, install them, etc. for free.  The catch is that you pay your current rates in electricity to them.  So, I suppose the only purpose to do it is if you are a tree-hugging hippy.  I like the idea of solar panel because it’s cheaper in the long run, and can get you off the grid.  Screw everyone else.

Probably sucks.

Episode guide for The Wizard – I still remember this TV show after all these years, and would love to have a copy on DVD.  Apparently, it wasn’t on for long so they should be able to hook me up cheaply.  I can’t even find bootlegs online though.

Most of these shows were lame.

TV Openings – Specifically the opening video clips of cartoons from the 90s.

He was awesome in Extras.

Patrick Stewart singing the alphabet – I dunno if this was for Sesame Street or Reading Rainbow or what, but it’s funny.

Captain Jean Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The Picard Song – Friggin’ awesome editing job in terms of the “lyrics” being syncopated.

What a tool.

Impossible is Nothing – Amazingly pretentious resume tape.  While funny on its own, I link to this video so that you can really appreciate the next.

Hope he gets more gigs.

Impossible is the Opposite of Possible – Hilarious parody of the above by Michael Cera who played George-Michael Bluth on Arrested Development.

Kind of funny.

Muse’s Invincible performed by Gwen Stefani – Adrienne sent me this video.  In reality, someone changed the pitch, and realized the lead singer of Muse sounded a lot like Gwen Stefani.  Some of it sounds just like her.  Others, not so much.

Pretty impressive.

Teaspoon slide guitar – An awesome folk guitar player from South Africa playing slide guitar with a spoon in his mouth.

Also impressive.

Tommy Emmanuel instructional video – He shows how to play Day Tripper and Lady Madonna.  It’s some pretty awesome playing.  He essentially plays two parts at once.  I’d never heard of the guy until I saw these clips.

The impressive guitar trifecta.

Stanley Jordan playing Stairway to Heaven – Similar to the video above, Stanley Jordan out performs the original.

This kid needs to be beaten up more.

Dax’s Youtube diaries – This kid is bound to go Columbine if he is legit.  If he is faking, he is friggin’ awesome.  Either way, it’s fun to watch.
