Meet the Incredible Hulk of Hounds – I first saw pictures of this dog several weeks ago, but figured they were photoshopped. Apparently, the dog is as real as the puddle of urine at my feet.

Cool pool art – I’m not sure what else you’d call it, but it is pretty cool.

Princess Bride turns 20 – Here are some “then and now” shots of several of the major players in the film.

Now for some videos. This first is of a guy shooting a .50 caliber rifle. Apparently, the target was made of iron, and the shot richoted back and knocked the earmuffs off of the guy. Hearing the round come back is pretty cool. Talk about a game of inches:

This is from some Candid Camera knock off, but is pretty funny:

South Park often incorporates homages to various elements of pop culture, and this is one of the most dedicated in terms of length. They Live is an awesomely bad movie:

This guy took clips from a Silent Hill game, and put them to Haddaway‘s “What is Love” made famous by the Saturday Night Live skit that bore A Night at the Roxbury:

This is a recent interview with James Hetfield of Metallica, and I found his comments on Live Earth particularly interesting. I was originally irked that they were playing the silly shows, but they were already scheduled at Wembley the next night anyway, and Hetfield’s comments at the actual show and here make me feel a lot better about their warm-up gig that day:

You got to love the ingenuity of the Turks. Back in the day (and maybe they still do) they would take video from big blockbuster films, and edit their own actors and stories using the clips. Here is a sample of the quality of work on a particularly infamous Star Wars re-hash. The music isn’t original to the Turkish classic, but it the video still gives you an idea:

You can actually see the whole movie here.
