Story

In the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones’s plane crashes near a drought plagued Indian village, and he is quickly involved in helping the village recover their missing children and their sacred artifact that supposedly grants them good luck and good crop yields. As Indy investigates further, he unravels a disturbing cult poised to overthrow the British rule in India.

Cast

Of course, Harrison Ford stars, and is joined by his sidekick Short Round played by, Jonathan Ke Quan. Kate Capshaw plays, in my opinion, the hottest of the Indiana Jones female leads to date. It didn’t hurt that her character was born in Missouri, as I was born in Missouri too…. GO MIZZOU!  Plus, any movie with a Goonie is awesome.

Soundtrack/Score = 20

Quote/Catch Phrase

Jonathan Ke Quan, a Goonie, has the catch phrase for this one, “He no nuts, he crazy.” I love that guy, and I love that line.

Rewatchability

Man, Indiana Jones r0x0rz on its own, plus a Goonie, plus an 80s movie, which I forgot to figure in the Raiders score… and we have the first perfect score for a movie.

Rewatchability = 20

Total Score = 100

    Wasn’t Indy 2 the first PG-13 movie?

    I thought the same thing, but IMDB listed it as PG. Wikipedia just says that it helped spawn the PG-13 rating.
