In The Wedding Singer, an aging wedding singer is left at the alter, and is forced to reevaluate his life.  In the process of so doing, he falls in love with a co-worker who is also engaged to be married.  They spend so much time together planning her wedding, that they soon realize that they love each other, but will they end up together?

Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Christine Taylor, Allen Covert, Matthew Glave, Ellen Albertini Dow, Billy Idol, Robert Smigel, Kevin Nealon, Tim Herlihy, Jon Lovitz, and Steve Buscemi.  Another great cast for a Sandler film.

This movie is set in the 80s… that means 80s music… that means a score of ten.  Plus, the Sandler covers and originals were excellent.

Quote/Catch Phrase

“They were cones!”  “That’s a good meatball.”  “You’re going to a mental institute.”  “I’m the best guitar player in the world. No lessons, self taught.”  A lot of classic lines in this charming romantic comedy.

Not only is this Sandler and his crew at their best, but it’s set in the 1980s, one of the greatest decades in American History.  Bonus.

Wow, I didn’t realize when I was typing up the review that it was a perfect score.  Oh well, no harm done.
