In Christmas Vacation, Clark Griswold and family return with their zany adventures during the holiday seasons, and chaos reigns.

Marshall, Doris Roberts, Randy Quaid, William Hickey, Mae Questel, Sam McMurray, Nicholas Guest, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brian Doyle-Murray, Natalia Nogulich, and Doug Llewelyn.  Great cast.  The extended family brings a lot to the movie.  You got to love the revolving set of kids in these movies.  They had new kids each film.

Yet more classic Christmas songs.  Can’t really go wrong in a Christmas themed movie.

CQuote/Catch Phrase

“If any of you are looking for any last minute gift ideas. I have one….” “Its the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.”

“He’s cute ain’t he?  Only problem is, he’s got a little bit a Mississippi Leg Hound in him.  If the mood catches him right he’ll grab your leg and just go to town.  You don’t want him around if your wearing short pants, if you know what I mean.  Word of warning though, if he does lay into ya, it’s best to just let him finish.”

Todd: “Where do you think your gonna put a tree that big?”  Clark W. Griswold: Bend over and I’ll show ya.”

A Christmas classic right up there with “A Christmas Story,” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.”  I am kind of surprised its only rated PG-13 though, as the language can be nasty at times.  Oh well, still a friggin hilarious film.  You got to watch it at least once a year, and it continues the excellence of film that the 80s established.
